This weekend, Philadelphia welcomed fall with the Made in Philly Fall Market: a chance for local Philadelphians to show off their businesses and skills. Philadelphia pride was on full display everywhere you looked.

Nisa Tekcicek, founder and owner of Vera Belle Jewelry, said, “I live in philly and I love being in Philly; that’s the reason I think I’m here.”

Stephen Davis, a visitor at the market, remarked, “It’s a Philly thing.”

This year was especially exciting for the market. Ronge Baumann, an organizer for the market, said, “It’s very special because it’s the tenth anniversary this year, so we’re happy to have this market for the tenth time already.”

While the market may have been celebrating its tenth year, many were visiting it for the first time. Locals and tourists alike got to experience everything native Philadelphians had to offer.

The Made in Philly title especially grabbed visitors. Will Schiesswolh discovered the event on TikTok. He said, “Made in Philly, I think means community, I’m not from here, I moved here in 2025 and that’s probably been the biggest thing I’ve felt since moving a real sense of community.”

Made in Philly will be back with the Christmas Village later in the season, where even more will get to experience what Philadelphians have to offer.
