UPDATE: Missing Temple Student Found in Philadelphia

Jeremy Alwine, 20, is currently a junior enrolled in Temple University’s biology program.

UPDATED 9:30 PM: Temple University Police have confirmed that Jeremy Alwine has been found in northwest Philadelphia. He was taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation.

A Temple University junior has been reported missing by Temple University Police. A university-wide email, notifying students and faculty about the apparent disappearance of 20-year-old biology major Jeremy Alwine, was sent Tuesday afternoon.

Easttown Township Police informed TUPD of Alwine’s disappearance at approximately 10:30 PM, Monday night. Both police departments are conducting an ongoing investigation into Alwine’s whereabouts.

Alwine’s last known location was a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Berwyn, Pennsylvania. His vehicle was left unattended in the station’s parking lot, with his wallet, cell phone, and backpack remaining inside.

According to a post on Easttown Police’s Facebook account, Alwine has Asperger Syndrome and is unlikely to take extended trips without informing anyone of his intentions.
