Five Democrats and two Republican candidates have been elected to At-Large seats on the Philadelphia City Council.
Republicans David Oh and Al Taubenberger landed the two seats on the council designated for a minority party. Oh and Taubenberger finished just ahead of Dennis O’Brien, a Republican incumbent seeking a second term.
Democratic candidates Derek S Green, Blondell Reynolds-Brown, William K Greenlee, Allan Domb, and Helen Gym scored wins as well. Reynolds-Brown and Greenlee are both returning members, and Gym is a newcomer. Gym received the highest percentage of votes (15.93%), followed by Green, Domb, Brown, and Greenlee.
