Sneak Peak at Habitat, Student-Run Food Delivery App

Ordering meals just became a whole lot easier thanks to the Habitat app, which allows Temple students to order food on campus with the push of a button.

Habitat, founded by Temple University’s own, Andrew Nakkache allows students to order meals for delivery or pickup from 16 different vendors on campus.

Some of the more popular vendors include Master’s Bar and Grill, The Creperie, and Subway.

“I use it frequently because I have a super busy schedule. So the 20 to 30 minute timeframe that they deliver in is very convenient,” said Temple student Sarah Kiernan.

Habitat won the first place prize of $7,500 at the College Pitch Philly Entrepreneurial event on February 24th. The event took place at the University City Science Center’s Quorum Space.
