The online sign-up form for Temple Update anchor auditions will go live on this website on Thursday, January 13 at noon.
Welcome to the Spring 2022 Semester with Temple Update! Temple Update anchor auditions will be held in-person in Studio 3 of Annenberg Hall, on Tuesday, January 25, 2022. 5 minute slots between the hours of 8:30a-10:45a will be open for you to register. Two students will auditions per 5 minute registration spot. You will need to write a short script for your audition. There is a simple, three-step process to sign up for auditions.
First, you will fill out the anchor audition application form.
Second, you will sign up for an audition spot on SignUp Genius.
Third, you will email your completed audition script to templeupdate@gmail.com by 5p on Sunday, January 23, 2022.

Example Anchor Script:
For your anchor audition, please write a news brief that includes at least three items and that will take about one minute to read. Your script can include news, sports and weather items. If you are mostly interested in anchoring sports, you can include more sports items. If you are primarily interested in weather, you can include more of a forecast. If you are trying out for Lo Último or Update Ahora, at least part of your script should be in Spanish.
