The American Athletic Conference announced Tuesday morning that Temple’s Wednesday night matchup vs the Shockers has been postponed. Health and safety protocols within the Wichita State program is the reason cited for the postponement.
This is the third time this season that a game has been postponed for the Owls. Their December 18th matchup vs Drexel & December 29th matchup with ranked Villanova were also postponed due to health & safety protocols. Neither of those games have been made up as of now.
The postponement could not come at a worse time as the Owls are hot as of late, winning 3 straight and four of five. Two of those wins came without Head Coach Aaron Mckie on the sidelines, as he dealt with his own personal bout of COVID.
The Owls are scheduled to be back in action Saturday, January 22nd, on the road at South Florida.
