Temple IT services have rolled out their new Owlcard mobile software, allowing students full access to their ID via their mobile phone.
Launched on the 28th, students on iPhone and Android now have the option to sync their Temple IDs to their phones for ease of access at shops on campus, res halls and other university facilities, such as the TECH center.
In a statement from Temple’s IT services, the university stated that the new service will “provide students, faculty, and staff a higher level of convenience as you can now use your iPhone for everything from entering buildings to paying for a meal.”
Students will also be able to sync their IDs to other mobile smart devices, including their Apple Watches.
Students seeking assistance with setting up the new Owlcard mobile service should consult the IT Services Help Desk at 215-204-8000 or in person on the first floor of the TECH Center.
