Over 100 Temple Student-Athletes visited Villanova University on November 8, 2014 to give an unforgettable Special Olympics experience in partnership with Special Olympics Pennsylvania. SOP provides year-round athletic experiences to 20,000 children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
The Special Olympics were part of the 26th Annual Fall Festival, and is the largest student-run Special Olympics event in the world.
In order to volunteer at the event, you must be certified by Special Olympics PA as well as complete ten hours of training.
