Philadelphia Police say a Temple University student was carjacked at gunpoint early Thursday morning. It happened at 10th and Susquehanna when the student was leaving a corner store. According to police, the student, 21 years old, was forced to the ground while two men stole his wallet, phone, and car at 12:35 a.m. Thursday morning. The student, who is associated with the football team, was not harmed in the carjacking.
Students were notified of the carjacking via a TU Alert at 12:45am Thursday morning.
The stolen car is a teal 2005 Cadillac CTS with New Jersey tags. Philadelphia Police released surveillance video of the suspects involved in the robbery.
Police say that the the suspects were between the ages of 22 and 24.
