After a home-stand where the Temple Women’s Soccer team fended off AAC competition without a loss, their hopes of getting their first road win in conference play get swept up by a Hurricane, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, that is.
Early in the first half, Elana Falcone got the Owls on the scoreboard and the defense held Tulsa without a goal in the rest of the first half. However, late in the second half was when Tulsa got into their niche as the Hurricane’s Rachel Thun scored the tying and winning goals.
The Owls (9-6-1, 1-4-1 AAC) are still without a road win in the American Athletic Conference, with their last chance of getting a road win coming up this Sunday. They will travel to Memphis to take on the Tigers (7-5-3, 2-2-2 AAC). Game is set for 2:00pm ET, live stats and video will be available on owlsports.com.
