Now Open at TUCC

Temple University’s Center City campus has added some improvements to its structure. More specifically, it has added a new Shop and Cafe to the 1515 Market Street building.

Center City Campus Director Bill Parshall informed us that it is, “the most recent addition to the Center City campus…where you can get a bite to eat or sit down and talk with your friends.”

All seems to be moving along quite well since the Cafe’s soft opening last Monday. The new sanctuary is open to both students and to the public.

We sell multiple Starbucks items such as lattes and frappicinos,” explained operations Manager Chris Webster, “along with some cheesecakes, scones, bagels… and we also have a large selection of convenience items and soft drinks.”

Students can now enjoy the features of a new safe stop right inside the Center City building with easy access to the subway.

Temple student Daniel Solitro expressed how much he enjoys having the new cafe and that it offers a very cool atmosphere.

Many seem to agree that this new feature is indeed a step forward for the Temple University Center City Campus
