Temple Women’s Soccer looked to take the momentum from their Friday afternoon win over La Salle into a contest with another cross-city rival. In their last home game for two weeks, they soar past the Saint Joseph’s Hawks with flying colors in a 3-1 final.
Hats were flying for #13 Kelly Farrell. The senior who came in to this weekend ranked 3rd in Division 1 for Women’s Soccer, put all three goals in the net. Farrell was assisted by Shannon Senour, Paula Jurewicz, and Elaine Byerley.
Temple will take their 8-2 record on the road next weekend. The Owls seek revenge for last year’s home defeat as they will open American Athletic Conference play in Orlando at UCF on Thursday, September 24th at 7pm. Check out owlsports.com for live stats and video for that contest.
