Authorities are investigating a shooting that took place in the wee hours of the morning, just a block from campus. They say they are talking to at least one man.
Police say shots rang out around 1:30 a.m. this morning on the 2200 block of Park Avenue, leaving two injured, one critically.
The incident was just outside of a house party, but Temple officials say no students were involved. Students did not receive a TUalert because Susquehanna Avenue is where Temple Police’s jurisdiction ends, just feet from the crime scene.
Police say one of the men, 18 years old, was shot in the stomach and taken to Temple University who was listed in critical condition. The other, 24 years old, is reported to have sustained less severe wounds and is listed in stable conditions.
According to Philly.com, investigators have video of the shooting from police cameras on the block.
