Ambler Homecoming

Temple University’s Ambler campus had its own Homecoming events to show its Temple Pride. The homecoming events were organized by the Ambler Program Board.

“Our organization is the Ambler Program Board, and we’re a student run organization that plans all on and off campus events for students,” said Assunta Forgoine, President of the Ambler Program Board. “At homecoming today we had games and activities for our students to take part in, like an obstacle course, and we had hula hoops, frisbees and all different field games, and we all had a fundraiser to raise canned food and money for a local charity.”

The canned goods collected during homecoming will be donated to the Matty Dixon Community cupboard in Ambler. Students received a homecoming t-shirt for their donations.

Ryan Pace was crowned Homecoming King. The sophomore said, ”I was a little bit nervous coming into all this because I really wanted it but I’m happy that I won and as you can see I’m a proud to represent Ambler”

Sophomore Nischa Saahs was crowned Ambler’s Homecoming Queen and stated, “I’m really excited, I’m really happy to win. I didn’t expect it at all.”

The homecoming King and Queen represented the Ambler campus at the Owls’ homecoming game at Lincoln Financial Field.
