A car flipped over in front of the Johnson and Hardwick Residence Hall Saturday morning.
The accident happened around 1:45 am when a northbound vehicle travelling along North Broad Street lost control. The vehicle went up on the sidewalk striking a tree and pole. The car ended up overturned on the sidewalk of Diamond St. & Broad St.
The driver was taken to Temple Hospital for evaluation but is not seriously injured. No pedestrians were on the sidewalk at the time of the accident. The driver did not appear to be under the influence of alcohol. Temple Police are investigating the incident.
