COVID Booster Available at Paley Hall

Pfizer’s COVID-19 booster shots will be the next available vaccine in Paley Hall, Temple officials announced.

Anyone who is eligible can schedule an appointment on their Student or Staff Health Portal now. Then, they can head to the Paley building with a valid ID and vaccination card, and get the booster.

Currently, vaccinations will take place in room G002.

To start, nurses and staff will check your vaccination card to see if you have been fully vaccinated for over six months. These are for CDC regulations, along with checking your eligibility.

If your vaccination card says that you have not been fully vaccinated for over six months, you cannot get the booster.

Eligibility includes people aged 65 years or older, people 18-64 with underlying medical conditions, or people 18-64 at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of an occupational or institutional setting.

The staff at the clinic will administer the first dose on November 4th at 8:55 a.m.

It is not known how long this site will be open, or if it will ever open up to the general public.

Because of this, Flu shots will not be available starting Thursday. Students and staff can still access Flu shots in the building where Student Health Services is located.
