Equestrian Team to Compete Saturday

Temple University’s equestrian team is headed to the regional competition on March 28.

The club team has been active on campus for 13 years, and they practice both English and Western disciplines of horseback riding at Jentri Stables in Newton, Bucks County.

New members are welcome and do not have to know how to horseback ride in order to join the team. According to coach Jenn Post, members will teach beginners everything they need to know about riding and competing.

During the active season, Temple riders will rival against several other schools in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. During their off-season, members continue to practice and focus on fundraising and team bonding activities.
