Lacrosse Gets First Big East Win Over Villanova

Women’s lacrosse picked up its first Big East win with a 12-10 win over Villanova on Saturday. The Owls scored three of the game’s final four goals in an 11 minute span for the comeback victory.

Senior Jaymie Tabor notched a game high 4 goals and an assist for 5 total points. Rachel Schwaab also picked up her first hat trick of the season and freshman Morgan Glassford had two goals and an assist for 3 points.

In the net was redshirt sophomore Jaqu Kakalecik who had a career-high 10 saves.

Temple has two remaining games at home on Geasey before spending the the rest of the season on the road. The Owls will play #20 Louisville on Friday at 3:00 PM.
