Men’s Tennis Beats Fordham for Their First Win of Season

The men’s tennis team can officially check a W on their season schedule after eight straight losses as they picked up their first win over Fordham, 5-1.

Krisitian Marquart, a junior and international student from Germany, gave the Owls an early lead downing his opponent, 6-0, 6-1 in the fourth flight.

The only point for the Rams came out of the No. 2 game in a three set victory.

Filip Stipcic, a freshman on the team from Serbia, got his first collegiate win to regain the lead for the Owls 6-1, 6-3.

Temple will have a breather this week before traveling to Hampton on March 1st for their next match.
