Body of Missing Woman Found in Car

The search for a missing Delaware County woman has come to an end after her remains were found in her car Thursday afternoon.

22-year Nadia Malik had been missing since February 9th. She was found outside of 30th Street Station at 12:15 in the afternoon by police.

The car had been parked illegally since the 9th and has been ticketed 7 times. Lieutenant John Walker of the Philadelphia Police Department was reported saying that Malik went unnoticed due to the heavy amounts of snow that was on the car.

One local news outlet, quoting Malik’s parents, has reported that Malik was a pre-med student at Temple. But the ABC News web site reports that Malik had applied to transfer to Temple from community college, but had never enrolled.

No cause of death has been reported. An autopsy is scheduled for February 21st.
