The city kicks off the annual Philadelphia Flower Show this weekend, which runs through March 10.
This year’s theme, Flower Power, aims to pay tribute to the impact of flowers on our lives with interactive displays and flower exhibits that scale the high walls of the Convention Center.
The show features the Flower Show Entrance Garden, which pulls inspiration from Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, and other prominent artists of the Flower Power era. Visitors’ first look at the show will be the massive Entrance Garden made up of over 8,000 flowers from 85 different varieties.
Tickets for the show start at $21 for students, and $30 for adults.
