Owls Spring Break 2023 Plans

Spring break is just around the corner, and Temple students have all kinds of plans for how they’ll be spending the week. Many owls are ready to travel far and wide for spring break as Temple hits the halfway point of the semester.

“I’m actually going to Calgary, Canada, for the first time ever.” said junior Sachin Patel, “I hear it’s really nice this time of year.”

Others are taking advantage of the study away programs Temple has to offer. Senior Stephanie Zajac is heading to New Mexico with KleinGO’s Communication & Cultures of the American Southwest program.

While some plan to cross state and country lines, others are staying close to home or campus.

Freshman Seth Tavormina’s plans include “Just going back home, working, and spending time with family, and lots of homework.”

Even though most are taking the time to relax, some are working on projects.

Junior Nick Wichner will be “unit production managing a junior thesis film” over the last few days of break.

For seniors, the last-ever spring break means it’s time to make memories.

“I’m going to Brigantine, New Jersey, the beach, with a couple of friends.” says Sophie Stringer, “then I’m going home to visit my brother who is in Chicago at his high school, and I’m very excited about that.”

No matter what they have planned, most owls are gearing up in the same way- finishing assignments and packing their bags.
Owls will return to campus on March 13th to take on the rest of the semester.
