There were many unknown factors coming into the game versus SMU. The biggest question of the night was the status of senior Will Cummings’ ankle injury from Saturday’s game against Tulsa. Cummings did play, however, his contributions were limited.
Cummings played a total of 27 minutes, but could only put up one point for the Owls.
Temple lost to SMU by a score of 60-55. Markus Kennedy gave the Owls a run for their money by putting up big points down low. The loss comes after being defeated by Tulsa at home on Saturday. Temple will look to bounce back against UConn this weekend.
