Philadelphia’s Annual Constitution Day Celebration

This year marks the 227th anniversary of the singing of the Constitution.

Saturday, September 17 marks the 227th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution. To celebrate, the National Constitution Center is having free admission to the public on Friday, September 16. The NCC will be holding all sorts of events throughout the day, including arts and crafts, a naturalization ceremony, and a concert. At noon, there will be a singing of Happy Birthday to the document, followed by cake.

The celebration at the National Constitution Center is the largest Constitution Day party in the nation. To make sure you get a spot, call 215-409-6800 for a reservation.
