Philadelphia’s first Cheesesteak Festival took to Lincoln Financial Field over the weekend including samples from over 40 vendors.
Some attendees traveled hours just to attend the iconic event, and waited up to two hours in lines for the most craved cheesesteaks.
Vendors woke before the crack of dawn to set up and begin cooking. The event also included carnival style games for families and children.
Cheesesteak icon Tony Luke stated, “Everybody just staying together, hanging together, nobody arguing, nobody fighting…we’re all one big family.”
