Special Counsel Robert Mueller has released the over 400 page report produced by his office following years of investigations.
The report details that Russia did almost certainly attempt to interfere with the United States 2016 election, but found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian Government.
Several officials associated with the campaign, however, have been charged and indicted by Mueller, including former campaign assistant Paul Manafort and Trump associate Roger Stone.
While the report has been released, several hundreds of pieces of information have been redacted, either due to ongoing investigations or security purposes.
Trump took to twitter to defend himself against accusations made by many over the report and quotes from the president disclosed in it, stating that “Statements are made about me by certain people in the Crazy Mueller Report, in itself written by 18 Angry Democrat Trump Haters, which are fabricated & totally untrue. Watch out for people that take so-called “notes,” when the notes never existed until needed.”
Mueller’s office has also confirmed that though the Russia probe is over, there are several other new investigations currently ongoing, spawned by the report.
