Students all around campus are preparing for finals week as the semester winds down. This semester’s finals will be held from May 3rd to May 9th. Meanwhile, during the last academic calendar year, spring finals concluded on May 3rd. Meaning students’ academics are ending six days later than the previous spring semester.
This semester, students are also only getting one study day in between the time period of classes concluding and finals starting. However, last fall, students had two study days.
But students are nonetheless excited for the semester to end. Temple University freshman Graeme Duffey said “Obviously, I would prefer to have more; it definitely crams things together and makes it quicker, but I’m ready for it to be over”.
Classes for students will conclude on Monday, May 1st, and the singular study day will be May 2nd.
