Temple Drops Final Game of the Regular Season

Temple’s Women’s soccer took on the UC Bearcats for their final game of the season. The Bearcats came out on top 2-1. The Owls record to end the season is 3-16-0.

The first half the Bearcats grabbed the lead early in the 3rd minute. At the 9th minute the Bearcats scored their second goal. Alex Stubblebine and Vanessa Gilles were the two goal scorers.

In the second half the Owls picked up the pace. In the 69th minute, junior forward Gabriella McKeown scored a breakaway bringing the score to 2-1, she finishes the season with four goals.

Temple goalie Jordan Nash had nine saves on the day. Nash ends the year with a stellar 120 saves on the year, good enough for her to lead the Athletic American Conference.

The Owls will say goodbye to three seniors and look forward to fall of 2017.
