Temple Issues Another Timely Warning

Temple University is investigating three reports, including sexual assault off-campus and stalking. They say they think it could all be by the same suspect, and the person is not enrolled at Temple nor do they have access to university buildings.

Late last night, the university told Temple Update they do not tolerate these actions and clarified this timely warning is unrelated to the one sent out in the fall. We reached out to Philadelphia police, and as of yesterday, they do not have any information on the report.

Sujan Upreti spoke with student activists against sexual assault, and they say incidents like this one need to be a bigger conversation. Lubbe also says messages like these are important for the community to know they understand what’s impacting students.

To file a report with the university, you can contact Temple police, a Title IX coordinator, or the Dean of Students Office. To file an anonymous report, contact helpline@temple.edu.
