Temple Owls Men’s Basketball Fall To UAB Blazers 76–71

The men’s basketball team played the University of Birmingham at Alabama at the Liacouras Center.

Starting off, Jordan Mason brings up the ball and finds Aiden Tobiason open on the wing. Tobiason finds the assist to Gavin Griffiths for the dunk with ten minutes left in the half.

Coming out of halftime with 16 minutes to go, Chance Westry avoids the double team and drives left for the contested layup. Westry was the leading scorer of the game with 24 points for the Blazers.

Temple back with the offensive possession, the Owls got the ball moving. It goes to Griffith and he attempts the three, but comes up short. Temple struggled last night shooting only seven percent from the three.

Jacob Meyer puts up the final points for the Blazers by draining two free throws with less than 10 to go. With 3 seconds left in the game, Derrian Ford scores the last bucket of the game.

The Owls lost to the Blazers 76 to 71.
