The Temple Police department gathered outside of the Temple Hospital’s Boyer Pavilion Wednesday evening to show their support for health care workers who continue to battle Covid-19.
The officers and their families made posters and cheered on the hospital staff during their shift change.
Corporal Lawrence Besa told Temple Update why they came out to the hospital:
“To support the nurses and the doctors. They have been working hard it’s tough times. They have been wearing these masks all day long, they are in hot equipment. We just want to show our support.”
This act of kindness brought smiles to the faces of many health care workers who have been working long hours to keep us safe.
