Temple Students Join Rally for Increased Minimum Wage

A national call for action brought Temple students together in response to the nationwide Fight for $15 campaign.

Students marched through campus and flooded Morgan Hall demanding a minimum wage of $15 dollars and hour and a union for low-wage workers.

Students continued the fight joining hundreds of other protesters in Center City.

Philadelphia was one of the 230 cities in the U.S. that held demonstrations for the cause.

The march for change ended on the Market Street Bridge where activists stood together shutting down the street and making room for change.
