Temple Theater’s “Tartuffe”

Temple University’s latest production, “Tartuffe” is being held from March 17th to March 26th!

The play tells a story about a fraud in disguise, who wreaks havoc on Orgon and his family. This classic French tale is directed by Peter Reynolds and has everything from lavish costumes to poetic monologues.

Charlie Lazin, who plays Cleante, describes the production as a “ridiculous show” and says “bringing out the ridiculousness of it all has been really, really fun.”

Performer Jayson Williams, who plays Orgon, boasts about the “heightened text of the show”, calling their rendition of Moliere’s play “very modern and very funny and very easy to understand”.
Tickets are available here, with $10 fees for Temple students. Check out “Tartuffe” at 7:30 PM on weekdays and 2 PM for weekend matinees at the Randall Theater.
