Storrs, Connecticut – Continuing their three game road trip, Temple Volleyball traveled to Connecticut to face the University of Connecticut Huskies, coming off of a win in Oklahoma against Tulsa. It was a battle, going to the full fifth set, but Temple was unable to come up with a win, making it their second loss in the last three games.
The Owls took the first and third set, but the Huskies were able to close out strong taking the final two sets. Kenya Cason of UConn had 16 kills, Danielle Cabel and Erika Thomas both had 12 on top of that.
For Temple, Caroline Grattan and Tyler Davis both had 12 kills, and Izzy Rapacz had 10.
Temple will start a three game home stand on Sunday back at home in McGonigle hall.
