“America will be stronger together, with an economy that works for all, but not just serving the top 1%.”
Those are the words of Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine, who is touring Pennsylvania, visiting Bucks County Community College to support his running mate, Hillary Clinton.
200 people gathered at Linksz Pavilion at Bucks County Community College’s Newtown campus to listen and support the Vice Presidential candidate, and the other Democrats representing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the voting ticket.
Tim Kaine has been the sitting United States Senator of Virginia since January 2013, and before that served as Governor of Virginia from 2006 to 2010, and the Mayor of Richmond. He climbed up the ladder, accepting the invitation to be Hillary Clinton’s running mate as Vice President.
Being in politics for the last 20 years, Kaine made himself known for implementing educational reform and
restricting the use of concealed weapons in the State of Virginia. Being well known for his high ranking political positions in Virginia, called “one the best managed state in the United State of America,” Kaine still has a challenge to be accepted and recognized at a national level. There are still few people asking, “Who is Tim Kaine?” And will he be successful in running the United States as Hillary Clinton’s right-hand man?
Phyllis Sornalt, a Hillary Clinton supporter at the event, says that “Tim Kaine and Hillary Clinton are both very, very collaborative people. I believe that they will work together to make things better for all Americans, not just Democrats, not just Independents, not just kids with disabilities – everyone. They will be leaders for all.”
Tim Kaine took the opportunity speaking at BCCC to address supporting education for teachers and students. He asked the audience “Is a school room a better learning environment for a teachers, and a student? We’ve got a lot of educators in here [BCCC]. This is important.”
Kaine also spoke in favor of affordable college, healthcare “as a right, not a privilege,” and equal pay in the workforce.
With a heart-warming and promising speech from Tim Kaine and other Democratic nominees, Tim Kaine brought awareness to the future voters to make the right choice for a new change.
