TSG Announces 2020 Election Ticket

Temple Student Government (TSG) announced ListenTU and BloomTU as the two executive teams running in the 2020 election on Monday. Six candidates running for parliament were also announced.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, TSG has transitioned all campaign events to online. Campaigning will continue online for the next two weeks via social media. Elections will be held on April 14 and 15, and virtual inaugurations will be on April 27.

ListenTU brands themselves as a grassroots campaign looking to engage, enact, and unify the Temple University student body by leading by example.

BloomTU wants to help students thrive, and foster change in our campus by empowering students to be the best version of themselves.

The first executive debate will be held on Thursday, April 2 via Zoom and Facebook live from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

Temple Student Government serves to be an advocate in the best interests of a diverse student body, hold the university administration accountable for the quality of student life, and act as the official voice of students in academic, institutional, and campus affairs.
