TSG Wants a Cheaper Trailpass for Students

Temple University is considered to be a commuter school with a sizable population of students and faculty traveling to and from the campus. Their daily commute may become more convenient as the Temple Student Government makes plans to bring a more affordable SEPTA TrailPass to campus.

The Director of Grounds and Sustainability, Aaron Weckstien has been working closely with TSG and SEPTA to bring the cheaper pass to Temple students soon.

“Right now, we’re just exploring the option of providing Temple students with a discount on transit in general. We’ve heard a lot of feedback from students about their experience both as a commuter student and just as a student going to classes, having a job or internship in the city, so we wanted to explore that further” says Weckstein.

TSG and the University are meeting with SEPTA at the end of this month to discuss the TrailPass in further detail.
