After a month on the road, the volleyball team finally returned home to Pierson-McGonigle to take on the Memphis Tigers.
The Owls swept conference rival Cincinnati on Friday and looked to continue their success on Sunday.
Temple grabbed the first game 25-15 thanks in part to Tyler Davis and her star performance. Davis finished with a career-best 17 kills. Junior Sandra Sydlik led the team in assists with 46.
Despite a strong start the Owls went on to lose the next three games. The lack of defensive positioning and fatigue hurt Temple in the end. They move to 12-6 overall and 3-3 in the American Athletic Conference.
The Owls will be traveling this week to the state of Texas to face the Houston Cougars on Friday at 7pm. They will come back to Philadelphia on October 24th.
