Women’s Lacrosse Team Ranked #20

Temple’s women’s lacrosse team has started out their season undefeated. Their 3-0 record has led them to be ranked 20th in the nation.

Last week was an eventful week for the team as head coach Bonnie Rosen achieved her 200th career win. It didn’t stop there for the Owls, as goalkeeper Annie Carroll was named both AAC defender of the week and IWLCA National Division I defender of the week.

The awards continued to rain on the team this week as graduate student Quinn Nicolai was awarded AAC Midfielder of the Week. Nikolai scored her career-high seven goals over the weekend in their game against St. Joseph’s University.

The Owls travel to #11 in the nation Princeton University Saturday. When asked about how they are preparing for this game, coach Bonnie Rosen replied:

“You know, Princeton’s a great team… it’s always a great rivalry for us to play. We’re just preparing our team one day at a time like we play any team.”

The team hopes to continue its undefeated record this weekend in Princeton, as this will be their toughest opponent yet.

The game is available to watch on EPSN+ on Saturday at 12 p.m.
