Alumni Tailgate Owls Homecoming Game

Temple Alumni packed Lot K at Lincoln Financial Field to get pumped up for the Owls Homecoming game vs. the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.

The Temple football team were playing a hurricane, and the fans were fighting against what felt like a hurricane compared to usual tailgate conditions.

Mother Nature wanted to see how the Temple fans would fair in the rain, so there was a downpour all throughout the morning.

However, as dedicated fans, the Temple Alumni present wouldn’t let the weather rain on their parade. Alumni still found ways to sit back, enjoy a few drinks, and chat with some old friends prior to entering through the stadium gates.

“I like to see all my friends and then reconnecting with people and really having a good day,” said Beth Davis, member of Temple University’s Alumni Association in the Greater Philadelphia Chapter.

“Just feeling their Temple spirit kind of buzzing throughout tailgate row is awesome. Friends are definitely the biggest part but I want to see the team do well and get a good ball game,” said Saadiq Stewart, also a member of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter.
