Don’t be alarmed if you hear fighter jets Tuesday afternoon.

The U.S. Navy Blue Angels and U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are scheduled to perform a formation flight over Philadelphia to salute the workers on the front lines in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The planes involved in the joint flyover will take off from Joint-Base McGuire/Fort Dix in South Jersey at 1:45 PM and fly the following route.

The flyover is scheduled to begin around 2 PM on Tuesday (4/28) and last around 20 minutes. Everyone is reminded to continue to practice social distancing through the event and watch from their own home.
