Cherry and White Practice

This past Saturday, Temple football fans gathered to get a first hand look at the 2019 Temple Football team. In their first year under Rod Carey, fans were eager to see the coach in action. Different from previous years, Carey decided to change the event from normally being a game to a practice. In his press conference, Carey attributed this change to the health of his players.

Although it may not have been a game, it was still evident who the standout players were following the practice. For the second year in a row, Jadan Blue was among the players who impressed. Coach Carey said that Blue had a really good spring and that “He can run for days and he’s got good speed and good hands.”

At the Cherry and White practice, it wasn’t just about football. There was something to do for fans of all ages. Fans were able to enjoy mini golf, basketball, a beer garden, bouncy houses, and of course, football.  You can see how the SportsDesk’s Adam Miller enjoyed the day in the video at the top of this page.
