For the seventh year in a row, Temple’s Office of Sustainability is hosting Recylemania, a nationwide competition that seeks to promote waste reduction within the United States.
Universities collect data on the trash and recycling each campus accumulates over an eight-week period. The competition is judged based on highest recycling rate, amount of trash per capita and amount of total recyclables. Temple is one of 460 colleges to participate.
