PHILADELPHIA, PA – With the summer season approaching swiftly, many seniors are gearing for what life will be like beyond their time at Temple University. While students are excited to move forward with their respective lives and careers, there is a lot to reflect on their time at the University. We were able to chat with a few students who gave some perspective on not only what it feels like to depart from Temple but from the city of Philadelphia in general. “It is bittersweet. I didn’t grow up in Philadelphia and Philadelphia has become such a part of my heart the city itself and all the people that I have met here with my majors and my professors” said Senior Alena Firestone, who will graduating under the Community Development and City Planning Major.
Since students generally enter college around the age of 18, many students made the transition from teenager to young adult during their time at Temple. Cara Fisher a senior Media Studies and Production student says “I definitely feel more of an adult than I did when I first came to college and that’s definitely because of Klein”.
With graduation coming in about a week all the hard work has finally paid off. Graduates can enter the workforce as young professionals. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GRADUATING CLASS OF 2023!
