Temple gymnastics has a meet against Eastern Michigan in McGonigle Hall. This will be the ninth time the teams face off.
Eastern Michigan currently holds the advantage with a 6 to 2 lead on the Owls, but thankfully, they have a strong leader to guide them to victory.
Reese DeHaan is the team’s sole senior. She was honored last week at their senior night meet. She says “I feel like this team or the team dynamic last year was very different from last year cause las year we had so many seniors so I feel like Reese has just grown so much to her role as our leader for the team this year.”
Her ability as a leader was shown at the meet with the team scoring season highs on both the vault and beam. They scored third place with a score of 193.375.
