Christmas Village in Bethlehem

Events such as outdoor pop-up-shops, museums, live music, and restaurants are part of the Christmas Village in downtown Bethlehem.

The Christmas City in Bethlehem is currently having its annual Christmas Village and historic tours on the north side of the city.

“A lot of people come and it’s very historical and it’s just got a really great feel to it,” said village guest, Laraine Freezer.

The Village also provides an opportunity for locals to support small businesses in the area despite the pandemic.

Visitor Saba Ahmed said, ” My favorite part of the Christmas Village is definitely just getting to see all the small businesses, this past Saturday was small business Saturday, so it was really nice to be able to come out and support all the small businesses here”.

As a result of the pandemic, the shops are being spread out to ensure social distancing between customers.

“They have little shops randomly places all over the place, they’re not all in one spot,” said shopper Laraine Freezer.

The Christmas City will have festivities open until the December 27, 2020.
