Warm Weather

Winter weather has subsided and with warm temperatures, students are excited to soak up the sun. Students are eager to enjoy time outside for the remainder of the semester.

The winter weather limited students to do work indoors. However, with the change of weather the outdoor spaces have now become areas where students can do work for classes.

Outdoor spaces like the Bell Tower, Skate Park, and Anderson Terrace have become popular hang out spots for students. These areas offer nice spots where students can relax, nap, and hang out with friends in between classes.

One student, Christiana, expressed her love for the warm weather, “I love being outside, especially with all the people out, the breeze is nice and the sun’s really coming down so it’s nice being outside.”

Students can be seen playing football, reading, and lying down in the sun.

While there are lots of benches and chairs to sit on, most students appear to prefer the open grass areas.

With temperatures rising up to 80 degrees in the coming weeks places like the Bell Tower and Liacouras Walk are sure to be crowded with students taking advantage of the nice weather.
