The women’s tennis team dropped it’s 3rd straight game this season, this time to Stony Brook 4-2 on Friday at Lehigh University.
The Owls two wins in the singles flight came courtesy of Yana Mavrina, who beat her opponent Adey Osabuohien 6-1 in the first game, dropped the second 1-6, then fought her way through a barnburner, 13-11; and Minami Okajimi who ousted Becky Shtilkind 6-0 and 6-4.
The Lady Owls will have a week breather before traveling to Hampton to kick off March.
